Discussion

Ultraviolet light is divided into three major wavelengths:  UVA, UVB, and UVC.  UVC radiation is completely blocked by the ozone layer with wavelengths from 200 to 290 nm.   The UVA and UVB radiation is not completely blocked by the ozone layer.  The UVA wavelengths are from 320 to 400 nm and the UVB wavelengths are from 290 to 320 nm.
